Animal-Assisted Activities (AAA)

Animal-Assisted Activities (AAA) involve informal, motivating, educational, or recreational visits with a trained human-animal team. Unlike therapy sessions, AAAs do not have specific treatment goals for each individual and are typically carried out by volunteers. There is no need for documented, personalized treatment plans during these activities.
