There is a bizarre story about how Stiggy got her name. She was the first baby to be able to stand up and run. The first time she did it, she ran straight to me with THE most adorable expression. The name “Stig” immediately popped into my head. I told our Curation Manager that this bird’s name is Stig. I had no idea what it meant or why it popped into my head. We Googled to see if it was a legit name. It was. The meaning? Traveler or wanderer. So that is how she became Stiggy! “The Stigster” is a TOTAL ham! She loves to be the center of attention and show off her flashy colors. This baby is LOADED with personality and would love a home where she receives an abundance of love… and toys!
